There's a lot that seems fairly batty about that excursion to me! But unless one of the rooms would accommodate the three girls, or Pam was prepared to share with one of her daughters (not so much of a treat, perhaps) I guess they'd have to have at least 4; Peter's getting a bit beyond the age where he can share a room 'decently' with a sister.
