We got some Catullus too for School Cert. Probably much the same stuff - da mi basia mille, Quintia, the ex-sparrow. (And then the next year, we got hold of a complete edition our teacher had left lying around. I've never been able to decide if that was an accident or not.)

I'm probably unfairly maligning Miss Latimer and the Kingscote syllabus. But Aeneid V is really boring.
