Marlows crossover fic

I'm working out a timetable for the promised Forest readthrough, but in the meantime, I think some trennels readers might enjoy this, which was one of my splendid gifts in the recent Renault Exchange.  You probably do need a working knowledge of The Charioteer to get the most out of it, but it's a superb take on some perennial Forestian topics of interest: social class, religion, the Navy.

Oooh, thanks for that. Having gone to look I see that I commented on her Rivers of London fic and I remember enjoying it very much so I'm sure I will enjoy this one as well.

It is superb: the fourth paragraph administers a bit of a punch to the guts that even I took quite hard, and I'm on noisy record about the ultimate probable unviability of Ralph/Laurie (the expected for which one has refused to prepare, eh?) There are some cameos from Marlows animals, and Ann has a theological discussion and Peter a political road to Damascus. To say more would be spoilery...if I haven't already.
