Sorry to be commenting so late. I've just acquired TMATT although I have read it before. What just struck me in chapter 1 is Nicola having a room to herself in the hotel; that seems utterly daft and unlikely, even if Pam is blowing the legacy. So were they actually using 5 rooms? Or maybe Lawrie shared with Ginty?
