Certainly, I agree in these two books, she gets away with a lot ... at the end we can return to consider how true that is over the whole canon! My immediate reaction is that I am not sure, but there are a lot of incidents which could go one either side of the scale - or move in retrospect. I'll have to give it more thought. Doesn't Ginty like to think of herself as lucky too? Another interesting taxonomy to consider perhaps?
