But when Nicola meets Patrick in FL she identifies him as "Peter's friend Patrick from before the war" and there is all the Walls of Troy stuff that the boys used to play where they wouldn't let a small Nicola join in. In FL Patrick effectively switches that round and the fallout runs all through FL and on into Peter's Room. But it is a discussion that ought to wait until FL.
