(I really like the moving timeline, myself. Part of the pleasure of AF for me is witnessing the craftsmanship of her approach to different eras, styles of living, etc. -- I don't say it always works, and I'm sure it contains many inaccuracies, but it's fascinating. It's not just the pop culture references: the whole tone and tenor of the books shifts between AT/TMTT and RAH.)
