They are great to read aloud. I've read many of them to my daughter who loved them too, but lost interest after We Didn't Mean to Go to Sea which is my favourite! Our surname when we do Tudor re-enactment is Blackett though :) Daughter-thing is very much an adventurous type and Nancy is her favourite character.
