This is my first reading of PR and I found the Hunt sections quite fascinating.I learned everything I know about cricket from CT and Dorothy Sayers,and that has served me in good stead, so I'm assuming AF's description of the hunt is somewhat close to accurate. I have always wondered exactly how a hunt worked, in my understanding, it seemed very chaotic, barbaric, and destructive. AF's take gave me a more complete understanding, but I think my original adjectives stand. How do people get leave to run dozens of horses and hounds through people's property?
