In the scene on the roof in The Cricket Term, Janice notices "the flap of blue denim, Junior pattern." That description has always stood out to me. It's hard for me to imagine Kingscote adopting a blue denim uniform, even in the groovy 70s. I wonder what Forest envisioned. Navy and white check sounds much more Kingscote's style, to be honest.
