The funniest thing about the Antiochian Orthodox woman was the way that she obviously thought there was something odd about our not knowing the details of this.
My ex-boyfriend once met the Coptic Patriarch of Alexandria, and was offered a chocolate from a tin of Quality Street. Seven years later, the surrealism of this still reduces me to helpless giggles.
