What I meant was that if the children didn't get treated evenly (as shown in the above examples), that might account for them behaving selfishly - having a "grab it before anyone else does" attitude. I object to her treating the children unevenly, not to her treating herself to something. Though again, I still don't think it was a sensible thing to do. It's certainly possible to have failings as a mother and not be a bad mother. It's also possible to think someone is a bad mother, or has failings s a mother, without being either "anti-mother" or "anti-women".

Perhaps in future you should clarify someone's intent before you go on the attack. Frankly I find your inferral that I hold such attitudes, on very little evidence, both insulting and unjustified.
