Jenny Overton's other book about the Creed family too. I'm forgetting the name at the moment--maybe *Nightwatch Winter*? One of the Overton books also revolves around a Christmas play, as I recall, and the family reminded me an awful lot of the Marlows. I own those books but it's been ages since I've read them. I enjoyed them but the characters were't really that vivid.
