As people have been saying today on Facebook, the Dreamwidth format is much better for a proper conversation.

So... (thinks of contentious topic that hasn't been done to death)

Lawrie: will she grow up to be a bearable human being or a complete nightmare?

Ditto for Peter, Patrick, Ann and the rest of them.

I tend think that all of the siblings will probably be both nicer and happier people when they are out in the world on their own, and not in the Marlow/Kingsmead/Dartmouth hothouse being constantly judged against other Marlows and found wanting both by the family, other people, and themselves.
