Marlows Fanfiction

*waves* Hello! I was just wondering if anyone knew of any AF fanfiction on the net (or off it, for that matter) - I know about rose_and_lizard's stories and The Chalet School and the Marlows, but is there anything else that anyone knows of?

Not that I'm aware of, although I'd quite like to be wrong. It's not really an easy world to fic, I think, as AF writes so well, and more realistically than many writers. I think it's quite telling that the only two (that I know) are crossovers in better known and more cliched (that's not quite the word I'm looking for, but it's the closest I can get when I'm so frazzled) worlds. It takes a really strong writer to pull it off - rose_and_lizard's stories are wonderful for keeping the Marlow spirit as well.

Also interesting to think about AF herself as an RPSer! Although historical is treated rather differently.

*nods* Tis indeed a problem - it's much easier to fic stuff when the original writing isn't particularly marvellous. I'm personally too much of a coward to write anything based on the Marlows, but I was hoping there were more brave bods out there who weren't such lily-livered poltroons!
