coughingbearsang - and someone mentioned missing Susan Hall's paper on  the uses of fiction within the Marlows' world. What was that about - apart from the Brontes and the (I suppose) Brideshead allusion about the Merricks' chapel?

Um, I sang Under the Greenwood Tree (Walton), Orpheus with his Lute (Vaughan Williams) and Fidele's Dirge (Peter Wishart).

Unfortunately I didn't hear the lecture myself because I'd been swayed over to the Nelson Side by coughingbear's promise of colour slides, but I believe the conference proceedings will be available in print and on CD some time next year if that's any help to you. :)

That's a shame. A friend told me about it when she saw it on the Antonia Forest website - and that's how I found out about Trennels and LJ. I'd never heard of LJ until then!

I used to lurk on Yahoo Groups (never got up the courage to post, alas!) and heard about Livejournal from people on there. I found this board because I was looking for other users with Antonia Forrest as an interest. It's a shame it doesn't seem too busy.
