Hi, have just signed up to this site; I love Antonia Forest's work. Does anybody have any ideas about what 'Natch' means? I think it means 'of course'.

It took me a while to work that out too.

I had one friend who thought the word 'fathead' (Enid Blyton rather than AF, obviously) was pronounced fath - eed, until I gently pointed out to her that it was actually fat - head.

Ha - I used to think that was pronounced faith edd! It took me years to work out what it actually meant.
