Who'd play the Marlows?

So, inspired by a comment in tabouli's discussion, I wondered if anyone could think of actors or actresses to play the Marlows? Or any of the other characters, for that matter?

We did decide on a skinnier, pointier Orlando Bloom (with yellow contacts) for Patrick...

Sorry but Daniela Nardini can't possibly be Rowan, her characters are always way too emotionally unstable. Rowan would never dash behind the combine harvester to snort a few lines of cocaine. Plus Rowan has curly blonde hair....

While I see that canon Rowan has blonde curls, a young Daniela Nardini weirdly fits my mental picture of Rowan pretty well.

Can you really see Daniela Nardini in wellington boots, competently supervising the milking and discussing crop yields with Mr Tranter? Or playing netball and cricket in a steady, sportswomanlike fashion?

Actually I see her more as Lois Sanger.

Oddly enough, now you've said that, I'm seeing Kirsten Dunst as Rowan - she's played a couple of decent sporty types in her time (and I'm not thinking of Wimbledon).

Maybe not Daniela Nardini the person, or the type of character she usually plays. But her face fits my idea of Rowan. Purely on physical attributes. I know that's totally not canon, but it's just how I pictured her.
